Enter a Hilarious Animated World in INVASION! PS VR PS4

INVASION! PS VR PS4 is a virtual reality experience offering a hilarious animated adventure. It is a complete narrative short, with the twist that the viewer is able to enter the animated world using VR.

Bunnies Versus Aliens

The plot of INVASION! sees a race of hostile aliens invade Earth. However, those aliens face resistance in the form of a pair of rabbits. As it turns out, these would-be invaders are so utterly incompetent that the bunnies are more than a match for them! The project has significant Hollywood talent behind it, being helmed by Eric Darnell (the director of DreamWorks' animated film Madagascar) and narrated by actor Ethan Hawke. Through virtual reality, the player will take on the role of one of the two bunnies.

INVASION! Demonstrates the Storytelling Power of VR

As the story unfolds around you, you will feel as though you are right there in the animated short. INVASION! is not so much a game, as the story is designed to progress along pre-decided lines with little room for interaction; it is instead a project that demonstrates what virtual reality has to offer animated filmmaking. Nobody who enjoys a good cartoon can pass up the chance to try out INVASION!

PROS

  • A hilarious animated short film that you can enter.
  • Shows what virtual reality is capable of.

CONS

  • Should not be mistaken for an interactive game.
  • Lacks replay value.
